The garden is like a jungle, as the Solidago altissima and the Japanese pampas grass extend beyond the height of a person! The customer was in trouble. They wanted a garden with no weeds and no need for management. However, spraying gravel throughout the garden can be a cold impression, so I made it with Australian bricks and flowerbeds and made it a fun design to see.


The customer wanted to build a garden without weed and turn a Japanese-style garden into a Western-style garden. The bricked garden that a wife longed for has been completed. Orange and yellow Australian bricks in a ratio of 8: 2 to increase the size and depth. The wife's ideal garden was complete　and they were very pleased.





It is stone that finishes the luxurious and solid garden. Marble is the most famous stone used in the world,　 and is often used in hotels and western-style mansions where a gorgeous atmosphere is preferred. Irregular Stone Floor is the most popular for western style homes, and granite is well suited for Japanese style homes. In addition to the type and color of the stones, there are also Western and Japanese styles for pasting, and designs are selected to match each garden.

Therefore, we created a circle plaza in the center of the garden with like English-style natural stone,　and weeded the area with weed control film and gravel. In the garden, which can be seen from the living room, weeding control has been taken to prevent future weeds from bothering a wife by alternating large granite plates on the stone. To improve the balance for viewing, we put decorative gravel in some spaces and created flower beds (black soil parts) to plant seasonal flowers and enjoy gardening.


The design is made of Irregular iron flat stones, so that it fits a home that mixes Japanese and Western styles.
